Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how ApexSof Solutions ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use SellSmart — including the mobile application and website (together, the "Service").

SellSmart is a business tool for mobile shops. It helps you manage inventory, purchases, sales, history, reports, and stolen-device checks (Safe Scan). The same account and shop data can be used on web and mobile.

a. Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (stored securely via our authentication provider). You may also provide name, phone number, shop name, profile image, and shop address.

b. Inventory and transaction data. When you use SellSmart, we store business data you enter, which may include brand, model, color, specifications, IMEI numbers, purchase price, sale price, buyer details you choose to record, images of devices, purchase/sale history, and related notes.

c. Alerts and Safe Scan data. If you create a stolen-device or watch alert, we store the IMEI and related details in your account and in a shared Safe Scan index so other shops can check that IMEI. Scan events may notify the shop that reported the alert.

d. Device permissions (mobile). On the mobile app we may request Camera (to photograph devices), Media/Storage (to upload images), Internet (to sync with our servers), and location (only if you choose to set a shop address).

e. Technical data. We may receive basic technical and diagnostic information needed to operate the Service (for example authentication tokens, app or browser type, and error logs from our infrastructure providers).

We use information to:

• Create and manage your SellSmart account
• Provide inventory, purchases, sales, history, and reporting features
• Operate Safe Scan and stolen-device alert features you enable
• Sync your shop data between the web dashboard and mobile app
• Send account-related messages (such as email verification or password reset)
• Provide customer support and improve reliability and usability
• Detect abuse, fraud, or misuse of the Service

Safe Scan lets shops check an IMEI against alerts reported by other SellSmart users. If you create an alert, limited device and contact details needed for that feature may be visible to another shop when they Safe Scan a matching IMEI.

You should only report devices you have a legitimate reason to watch or flag. Do not submit false or abusive alerts. Safe Scan results are informational and do not guarantee ownership status or legal conclusions.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:

• With your consent or as needed to operate features you enable (such as Safe Scan)
• With service providers that help us run SellSmart (see below)
• To comply with law, regulation, or lawful requests
• To protect the rights, safety, or security of ApexSof Solutions, our users, or the public

SellSmart uses trusted third-party infrastructure to operate, including cloud authentication, database, and file storage services (currently Google Firebase / Google Cloud). These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments, and only as needed to deliver the Service.

We retain your information while your account is active and as needed to provide SellSmart. You may request deletion at any time through the app or our Delete Account page.

After a confirmed deletion request, we remove your account and associated shop data from our active systems according to our deletion process (typically within 90 days). Limited records may be retained longer when required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons, or when data remains in encrypted backups until those backups cycle out.

If you created Safe Scan alerts, related shared-index entries may be removed or deactivated as part of deletion processing.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction — including authenticated access controls and encrypted transport. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity under your account.

Subject to applicable law, you may:

• Access and update profile and shop information in the Service
• Request deletion of your account and related data
• Contact us with privacy questions or concerns

SellSmart is a business product and is not intended for children under 13 (or the higher age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided data to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted in the app and/or on this website with an updated effective date. Continued use of SellSmart after changes become effective means you acknowledge the updated policy.
